Chef Joshua Robinson opened Meet and Bread Company on Zebulon Road so Rocky Mount would have a destination worth gathering at — no Raleigh trip required.
Why We're Called Meet and Bread
The name is a play on "breaking bread" — that ancient act of sitting down together and letting a meal do what conversation alone can't. Chef Joshua Robinson built this place to honor that tradition.
In the Kitchen
Brisket goes into the smoker for eight-plus hours, Angus beef burgers are stacked with intention, and a Maine Lobster Roll somehow ends up exactly where it belongs — right here in eastern NC. Every dish is built to surprise you a little, and satisfy you completely.
Built for Rocky Mount
Eastern NC deserves elevated fast-casual dining without the drive to Raleigh. The teal walls, warm wood, and sports on the screens — this room belongs to Rocky Mount.
Your Table Is Ready
Our team — the Corries and Trinitys of this place — remembers your name and makes sure the deep-fried honey bun lands at exactly the right moment.
